creamy cheesecake parfait with bailey’s chocolate sauce.
Prep time: 15 minutes, Chill time: 10 minutes
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
- Whipped cream (premade or follow recipe below using:)
- 250 ml whipping cream
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- Chocolate baileys sauce:
- 100 g semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 tbsp (14 g) unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp Baileys Irish Cream liqueur
- Parfait:
- 250 g cream cheese, softened
- ¾ cup whipped cream
- 1 ½ tsp sugar
- Oreo crumbs, brownie chunks, or toppings of choice
Instructions
Let’s start this then...
PART 1: Make the whipped cream (omit if using the premade variety): In a small bowl, whip the heavy cream with the sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, whisk the cream cheese until smooth. Stir ¾ cup of the whipped cream into the cream cheese (reserve the leftover whipped cream for topping the parfait).
Mix the toppings into the cream cheese mixture. Let this chill in the fridge as you complete the next step.
PART 2: In a small pot set over medium heat, melt the chocolate and butter together.
Take the pot off the stove, stir in the Bailey’s and mix well.
PART 3: Assemble the parfait: Layer the cream cheese mixture on the bottom of the dish and top with more oreo crumbs and broken up brownies or other chosen toppings (if desired). Drizzle a generous layer of the chocolate sauce on top. Repeat the layers as many times as you’d like until finally, top it all off with whipped cream, more of the sauce, oreo crumbs and broken up brownies. Serve immediately.
