Instructions
One thing is for sure and that’s c-h-o-c-o-l-a-t-e!
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips for 30 seconds at a time, until fully melted (about 1 ½ to 2 minutes). Set aside.
In a medium bowl, sift the flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda and baking powder together. Set aside.
Each step is smooth sailing!
In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the oil and sugar together for one minute. Add the melted chocolate, then the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
A chocolate-y smell is in the air and it’s so satisfying!
Fold half of the flour mixture into the oil mixture. Stir in the buttermilk and vanilla, then fold in the remaining of the flour mixture until well-mixed.
It’s almost done and you’re almost there!
Liberally coat a bundt cake pan with spray oil. Then pour the cake batter into it.
Bake for 55 to 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
So, not only is it possible to do the work and make this delicious cake but, it’s enjoyable too!?
Let the cake rest in the bundt pan for 10 minutes. Then slowly, holding the edges of the bundt pan, shake it just a little so as to loosen the cake from the pan. Let the cake rest in the pan for an additional 10 minutes.
Turn the cake out of the pan to cool on a wire rack.
It’s done, it smells amazing, and it was all you. Even though things seem a little unclear, with enough time and thought, the answers will come. And then, after all your hard work is done, you can share your triumphant win/goody with a friend.
